In this article, we will show you how to add/edit & remove MIME types using Plesk.
MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Exchange) is a set of query that let the server knows how to deal with different file type. It instructs how to handle files received from server . By default IIS only serves known MIME Types.
How to add and remove MIME type ?
- Log into your control panel.
- Click on the 'Websites & Domains'.
- Click on the 'Virtual Directories'.
- Click on the 'MIME Type'.
- Click on 'Add MIME Type'.
- Enter Extension and Content.
- Click on the Ok button.
