Clearing your browser's cache Print

A web cache stores copies of documents passing through it; subsequent requests may be satisfied from the cache if certain conditions are met. There are times wherein you will need to clear or refresh your browser's cache.  If such situation arises, you can follow the step-by-step procedure below.

For Google chrome

1. Open Google chrome
2. Go to the three-dot menu at the upper-right of Chrome to select Settings > Show advanced settings > Clear browsing data
 Or directly go to 'chrome://settings/clearBrowserData' from browser without the quotation marks
3. Click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files
4. From the top, s
elect the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything
5. Click Clear browsing data

For IE: 

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. To select menu, Click on the gear wheel in the top right corner.
3. Click on Safety in the menu
4. Click on Delete browsing history in the submenu
5. Select Temporary Internet files and website files from the list
6. Click OK



For Firefox:

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click "Tools" Menu, then click "Options"
3. On the "Options Box" menu, click "Advanced" Icon. 
4. Click on the Network tab.
5. Click on Clear Now in the Cached Web Content section.


For Safari:

1. Open Safari.
2. Click "Safari" in the finder.
3. On the drop-down click "Empty Cache". 
4. On the small window that will open up, click "Empty".
