Suspending and Activating Websites Print

This guide will show you how to suspend and unsuspend websites using Plesk.
The suspend option can be used If you want to shut down a site for maintenance and let your visitors know that it is temporarily unavailable.
Note - When a website is suspended, it becomes inaccessible over the Internet, and e-mail addresses under the site's domain name stop working.

To suspend a website:

1. Login to your control panel
2. Click the Websites & Domains tab.
3. Find the domain name of the site that you want to suspend.
4. Click the Suspend link.

To activate a website:

1. Click the Websites & Domains tab.
2. Find the domain name of the site that you want to activate.
3. Click the Activate link.
